Tell us a bit about this design.
Well, I love Matt Smith as The Doctor, and basically I just thought this line was perfect material for a really bold, simple image. It sat in my head for a few months and then I put it together in Illustrator. Took me a few attempts to get the level of detail right for his face (I kept trying to put in too much) but I got there in the end.
Where are you from?
The UK. Specifically, Scotland - near Glasgow.
What do you want TeeFury fans to know about you?
That I'm totally awesome and the coolest, most talented, best person ever. (Wait... does it have to be something true?)
What do you absolutely not want them to find out?
That I spent my early-to-mid teenage years on the internet writing truly awful fanfiction.
Name a few of your favorite things.
I feel like breaking into song, but I'll resist. Drawing, reading, comics (From Astro City to Hellboy to Penny Arcade and back again), superheroes, cartoons, films with Ron Perlman in them, Tabletop RPGs, and my X-Box (Favourite game: toss up between the Fallout games and the Left 4 dead series). My friends, family and boyfriend are in there too. Plus my two pet rats.
What kind of art did you make as a kid?
Pokemon basically taught me to draw. I spent hours perfecting the curvature of Pikachu's ears.
What is your favorite thing about Doctor Who?
I love the different worlds that the Doctor visits - the crazier the concept the better. My favourite is probably the steam-punk alien London with the fish that swim in fog, from the most recent Christmas Special. Genius!

Thor vs. Poseidon: which would win the battle?
I'm gonna go with Thor. Simply because I imagine him yelling "HAMMER TIME!" before battle and it amuses me.
Describe your favorite shirt that you own, and why you like it so much.
This is a hard one. It's between a Dungeons and Dragons one I bought from Penny Arcade (Tycho holding a D20 with the words "Roll Initiative" underneath), and Ellis' "Bull Shifter's" T-shirt from Left 4 Dead 2, given to me as a Christmas present. Basically, I love T-shirts which showcase my hobbies and loves (I also have seven superhero shirts - one for each day of the week.)
Which is better, gaming, reading, or watching movies? Name your favorite title in your chosen medium.
I think all of them are brilliant in different ways. I'm going to say gaming, because I love the social dimension of it. I always look forward to meeting up with my friends and either rolling those d20s or firing up the X-Box for some zombie-slaying action. My favourite game would probably be Dungeons and Dragons - you can't beat an old-school sword and sorcery romp.
What inspires your work?
Lots of things, but I guess my biggest inspiration is probably comics. I read a wide variety of things, from superheroes to indy comics. Often when I feel drained, I grab a volume off the shelf and pore over it. When I read comics, they ignite my desire to create.
Any shout outs?
I want to say hello/thanks to my family, friends and boyfriend Mark for always being as excited about my scribblings as I am (sometimes even more so).
I also want to say thanks to Andrew for sending me the link to Tee Fury, and to Claire for being the catalyst that made me sit down and actually draw the design. (Claire is the biggest Matt Smith fan I have ever met. Seriously.)
