Tell us a bit about this design.
A long time ago in a galaxy far far away, the Masters of the Universe put aside their differences and came together to record the greatest album of all time. Success, money, and women tore the band apart. He-Man and Skeletor wouldn't even talk to each other by the time the tour wrapped up. Orko was admitted to rehab halfway through recording the follow-up album. Trapjaw left the group and started a new band with Hordak, and Man-At-Arms was arrested for public indecency after drunkenly spelling his name in urine on the walls of Castle Grayskull.
Where are you from?
Los Angeles, CA. Unless Demolition Man becomes a reality, then San Angeles, CA.
What do you want TeeFury fans to know about you?
I once spent the day with Weezer at the Playboy mansion.
What do you absolutely not want them to find out?
I have seen all three Twilight movies.
Name a few of your favorite things.
He-Man and Guns N' Roses obviously. Lord of the Rings, Freddie Mercury, Weezer, Green Day, Tron, Zelda, Mario, Halo, Half-Life, Shadow of the Colossus, old school Lucas Arts adventure games, Firefly... I have a lot of favorite things, how much space do I have?
What kind of art did you make as a kid?
As a kid I was influenced by so many different things, so I would draw characters from a lot of things I loved like video-games, movies, TV, comic-boooks, toys, cartoons.
What is your favorite thing about 80s rock?
The face-melting guitar solos! Also the hair and spandex.
Guns vs. roses: which would win the battle?
A rose by any other name would smell as sweet... especially if it was called a gun. How about a gun that shoots roses
Describe your favorite shirt that you own, and why you like it so much.
My favorite shirt is the Cold War Vet Monkey Astronaut t-shirt. It's a great tribute to one of the unsung heroes of early space travel.
Which is better, gaming, reading, or watching movies? Name your favorite title in your chosen medium.
I'll go with gaming since it was my first obsession as a child. I've played a lot of games since 1985, but sadly I think i've put the most hours into Crackdown on Xbox 360. I just had to collect all of the orbs. I think I could navigate my way through Pacific City in my sleep.
What inspires your work?
As an artist, there isn't much that doesn't inspire me, but I would have to say music is probably my biggest inspiration. I love a good concept album.
Any shout outs?
My girlfriend Kristin, the best girlfriend in all the land! Also my family and friends are all awesome. I'd like to thank Tee Fury for selecting my work and mostly, I'd like to thank every one that orders one of my shirts. May the power of Grayskull shine down on you.
