Tell us a bit about this design.
Being a huge Star Wars/NBA fan, this design pays homage to Luke's home and the home of the similarly-haired Steve Nash.
Where are you from?
Christiansburg, Virginia
What do you want TeeFury fans to know about you?
It really ticks me off how Disney likes to throw their classics into the vault. If I ever find the location of said vault I am busting in, Mission Impossible style, rescuing "A Goofy Movie". Then I will release it back into the wild.
What do you absolutely not want them to find out?
Some where, deep down, there is a little captain in me... Captain Kirk that is.
Name a few of your favorite things.
Jello 1-2-3. The episode of Saved by the Bell where Jessie is addicted to caffeine pills. The Doobie Brothers (Pre-Michael McDonald, not a fan).
What kind of art did you make as a kid?
I was a big fan of the translucent cube.
What was your favorite moment in the Star Wars series?
It would have to be Han shooting Greedo. That cemented Han as my favorite character from the series. I am also of the belief that Han shot first.
Math vs. Science: which would win the battle?
I would have to go with science, because if you want to take over the world you could become a Mad Scientist. Whereas if you wanted to do the same and were a Mad Mathematician, that wouldn't be quite as menacing.
Describe your favorite shirt that you own, and why you like it so much.
I used to have some Ren & Stimpy PJ's that were sweet. The words Happy Happy Joy Joy glowed in the dark.
Which is better, gaming, reading, or watching movies? Name your favorite title in your chosen medium.
Above all I would have to say reading comic books. Which I guess doesn't involve as much reading as say, Tolstoy, but the pictures are pretty. One of my all-time favorites would have to be Batman: Hush.
What inspires your work?
Mostly graphic novels. I am a huge fan of Jim Lee, Andy Kubert, Mark Bagley and Tim Sale.
Any shout outs?
I'd like to give a shout-out to the 5-4-0. Mad props.
Also to my family and friends and my always-supportive/encouraging wife Ellie.
