Teefury

I have always been fascinated with ninjas.. don’t ask me if I am one because you might not hear about me again hehe. I always like looking at the shadows and dark spots, thinking maybe an assassin is lurking behind a tree or between the crack on my walls. With a lot of people wearing black shirts I thought of a paranoid idea that maybe some ninjas are hiding there too. With a mash –up of my fav cartoons TMNT and Snake of Gi-Joe and the famous “There are ninjas in this shirt” I came up with this..it’s a black print on a black shirt..The design will be illuminated when you flash a light, wet the shirt or if when you touch it you know that there is something there. Hoping that you guys will dig the new idea :D

I am from the land of rice and dried fish, a small island in the middle of a republic archipelago. Where great pugilist and singers are born, where most nurses, teachers and engineers are sourced from, where famous dive spots and tourist attractions are countless and were skillful, creative and friendly graphic artist emerged. It’s called Cebu of the Philippines :D 

As a nurse and a supporter of the Philippine Red Cross, I was assigned by my company to organize a Blood Drive. And to get people to donate a portion of their life source I have to think of a creative idea. Something that will interest their senses and will make people aware of what they have done. And that is where I started designing t-shirts that says “I am hero, I just donated my blood” with all the graphics and splatters. 

Be aware, be humble and always explore :D

Imagine this, sipping a glass of Absolute vodka and Sprite in front of my Macbook pro on my lap while taking a view of some dolphins doing a special show on a Carribean sunset with two masseuse doing thai on my back and my feet while on a yatch approving the next designs for the next prints for some huge shirt sites like DBH and Teefury..hahaha that is my “Dream” job.

They make me feel I am not the only paranoid being hehe :D but seriously I am not. What was that?...

Oh I love this question, hmmm it has to be my design, every inch of it. Complete with a library, a playroom, a huge kitchen (I love to cook, also my wife), a dinning table for at least a dozen guest (so I can invite tons of friends for Thanksgiving), a pool, a huge terrace, 5 rooms, beach front and a bungalow (my wife like it like that so our kids can run in the house and be safe from falls). I am still on the “dreaming” state of mind here haha.

DC heroes are too powerful and too immortal, while Marvels are full of diversity and mystical powers. But I think in the end on Mario will save the world. Haha but seriously I love to see a match between Wolverine and Lobo. The Main Man is my hero. Frag’em all!!

Sometimes if you love something so much you have to design it :D And if you really like ninjas you had to have this badass shirt too.

I would run home after school to watch my favorite afternoon cartoons back in the 80’s. Like Voltron, Voltes V, Diamos, Thundercats, Silver Hawks, Centurions, X-Men, GI-Joe, Transformers and He-Man. I learned a lot from them than my boring teachers haha..

 

I collect Lobo comics since then and Star Wars and TMNT posters cover my walls.

My homepage is a fav of 4. Google, Ffffound, Teebanter, DBH. Because when I open my computer I love to read my emails first and find out what’s new, get inspired and read the forums.
