What was your favorite moment on Battlestar Galactica?
The
transaction between Lee and Adama at the end of season three when Lee
says that he won't serve under an officer who questions his integrity.
Adama replies- in the most epic moment ever- that he won't have an
officer who doesn't have any. Plus when Gaeta stabs Baltar with a pen,
who can forget that?
If you could be a character in any book, which would you choose?
Inigo Montoya, hands down.
Lion vs. sea lion: which would win the battle?
A
sea lion has the advantage of being able to hide in the water, so I'm
going to have to go with the sea lion as our hypothetical victor.
Describe your favorite shirt that you own, and why you like it so much.
Asides from the TeeFury shirts that I've got (my Frakking
Awful shirt just came the other day!) I'm partial to one that simply
says "Have fun storming the castle." It was a gift and "The Princess
Bride" is one of my favorite books, so it's a double bonus.
Which is better, gaming, reading, or watching movies? Name your favorite title in your chosen medium.
Reading,
when I can find the time. Right now my favorite title, probably
because I'm rereading it, is "Ghost Solider" about a rescue operation at
the end of WWII of Allied POWs.
What inspires your work?
Whatever my current obsession is, so a lot of it is fan art based on whatever I'm reading (novels & comic books) or watching. I also use art as a method of procrastination, so a lot of it is random sketches, just an excuse not to do the dishes, my homework and go to work.
Any shout outs?
My twin sister who introduced me to TeeFury. I introduced her to BSG, so we'll call it even.

Tell us a bit about this design.
I was
planning on doing a reimaging of the classic Rosie the Riveter image and
I was thinking of strong women and the first person that popped into my
head was Starbuck. Being a foul-mouthed, cigar smoking, pilot with
serious psychological issues shouts strong. Kinda. Not really. All
the same Starbuck is, at the very least, a frakking awesome character.

I'm
a Gemini (plus I'm an actual twin, though I'm one minute younger and

Overall, I totally dig the style. Probably in some aspects because it reminds me a little bit of my own.
But the roots in her hair.. or I assume its darker roots, though it could just be an attempt at shading the part in? It's done in a drastically sloppier way than anything else in the image.
It's a totally minor thing, I suppose, but as soon as I saw this, it was kinda the first thing I noticed about it.. and it's definately keepin' me from digging it as much as I otherwise woulda.
But seriously though, beyond that, congrats on the print, and while I don't get the joke.. I always love spins on Rosie =)

At least this has inspired me to go back watch the series; I've only seen the initial miniseries-esque shows.
