How did you come up with the design?
This design was partially due to my frustration playing the original Mario (I'm not that good at it), and partially because I wondered what happens after you run out of extra lives. Don't worry though Mario's expected to make a full recover... as soon as you restart the game :D
Tell us about yourself:
Hmmm... well I'm a 20.58 year old guy from the little town of Sandy, Oregon right on Mt Hood (if that helps place it any better). I'm a graphic design student at MSU, a soccer player, and a gamer (FPS mostly). Oh, I also love good ol' Rock n' Roll.
Where are you located?
The snowy town of Bozeman, Montana. No really, we already have a ton of snow here (way to early for me).
What's a day in the life of Andrew like?
Ha... pretty boring actually. Besides moonlighting as a space cowboy fighting the Alliance I spend most of my day working, attending classes, doing homework, and if i'm lucky playing video games or hanging out with friends. No rest for the weary :D

What's your art process like, from initial sketch to finished product?
I watch a ton of movies, read a lot, and look at a bunch of art for inspiration when i'm trying to come up with a design. But generally my best ideas happen when i'm not even trying to design. Anyways, any halfway decent idea I come up with go into my sketchbook, then, when I have time to work on my own projects (which isn't that often), I'll flip through it, pick out something interesting and flesh it out on bigger paper. After that I take it into Illustrator and wallah! Instant awesome design! ;)
Do you own a lot of shirts? If so, what's your favorite?
I just started getting into T-shirt collecting so I don't have too many that aren't sports related. But I have to say my absolute favorite shirt is one you guys published! The “Best Buddies” shirt by Chris Whal is just so amazing that it inspired me to submit a few designs to your site! So I guess I owe this first shirt to you Chris!

If you could go only to one restaurant for the next five years, which would it be?
The Olive Garden. Best. Pasta. Ever. Especially since there isn't an Olive Garden in all of Montana! It really kills me.
If you had a million dollars, what would you do with it?
I know this sounds boring but I would seriously put it into the bank until I get out of school. I have some big (top secret) plans and a bit of investment capital would go a long ways towards them. Oh fine, I'd also buy a bright orange and white ferrari!
MAC or PC?
Well the design program forced me to get a Mac but I've always been a PC … both are awesome but I'd still have to go with my PC. Mac games are horrible.
What technology do you hope to see in your lifetime?
A universal cure for cancer. Hey it may not be as exiting as lightsabers or teleportation but it's one of the most important fights going on right now. Not to mention its affected almost everyone in some way, me included.
