Tell us about this design:
Shredder has given up trying to beat the Turtles. He’s started delivering poor quality Italian food. He slices up a mean pizza though! Free turtle soup with every order.

What is your most favorite design of yours to be printed?
I’d have to say ‘At-At Anatomy’. It was so well received and created a bit of a buzz on the day it was up for sale. My non-parody “Still Need The Vision’ was also well received and I still get a lot of nice comments about that tee.

You have some years under your belt. Any wisdom about anything you would like to share?
Yeah I’m an old man, thanks for that. Not wisdom as such but I’ve learned that good manners seem to becoming rarer, especially in this new web2.0 world. I was taught that it costs nothing to be polite but it seems these days the default is curt and rude. Jeez, I really have become an old man... One piece of advice I could give is, be brave, try something new. Whether it’s with your profession or just in your day-to-day life. Something I could do more myself perhaps, certainly, professionally as a designer I know I should. It’s difficult, but step out of your comfort zone and there are rewards to be earned.

What's the most unusual/funniest/frightening/other thing to happen to you?
Hmmm, Sir Paul McCartney and his youngest daughter knocked into me on a train platform and then he asked for directions. He left without a word of thanks (manners, even mega stars could invest in a few). Not a great story, but I guess it’s not every day you collide with a former Beatle – unusual.

Do you think mankind will ever emulate some of the ideas in Star Trek, and other future space oriented fiction?
Teleporting and stuff like that – nah! But I do think we’ll be mining for commodities on distant planets as in ‘Alien’ in the near future, that is, if we’re not already doing it(!?) We’ll discover some form of life for sure, and then we’ll have a good go at meddling with it which can only lead to no good.

What technology do you hope to see in your lifetime?
Teleporting. Having already dismissed it earlier, I’d give anything to hit a button to leave my office and arrive home on my sofa. Thus avoiding my current monotonous train commute.

Parenting. You have a child. What's that like?
Greatest job in the world! I have two girls, aged eight and four. Two totally opposite characters but both uniquely special. It’s a corny cliché, but my wife and two little uns are my reason for being. Watching them grow and develop is a privilege and everyday they’ll do something that makes me very proud to be their dad.

Have you gotten any gadgets or any products recently of which you are an avid fan?
I used to be a real Apple Fanboy, but recently I can’t help thinking that I’m being taken for a mug by Mr Jobs. I’ve supported Apple for more years than I care to remember, but how much longer can I justify paying over the odds for that little shiny nibbled fruit? Having said that, an iPad will probably make it onto my Christmas wish list, I’m such a sheep...
