Why do cats and dogs REALLY fight? This tee has the answer!

Tell us about yourself:
I’m 23 and I live Gdansk in Poland. I study photography at Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk and I’m really honored that I joined  Tee Fury Family.

What's a day in the life of Grancarro like?
I usually get up from bed pretty late, turn on the computer with one foot, kick out of bed my cat with another, make breakfast, coffee and I try to sketch some designs. But currently, I spend most of time reading books, writing my thesis and making photos for my final exams, so I don’t have as much time as I want to make designs. By the way, my thesis is about polish painter and photographer Zdzislaw Beksinski. You should see his works. There are a lot of them on google. I’m sure they gonna be interesting, especially for those who like zombie tees etc.

Tell us about this design:
This is one of my first designs. It’s inspired by Fight Club poster. I hope you like it

Are you a Fight Club fan?
Big fan! It’s one of my favorite movies. It’s  great movie in every aspect. David Fincher creates an amazing atmosphere in his films, I love his style. In general I am a great lover of cinema, especially Fincher and Martin Scorsese movies. They have a unique way of telling stories.

What other interests do have besides t-shirt art?
Every kind of art, movies, books and a lot of other things

Do you own alot of shirts? If so, what's your favorite?
Yes, I have many t shirts.  My favorite is one with a big sandwich.

What was your first printed commercial piece of artwork?
It was a zombie-pirate or something like this. It wasn’t very good design to be honest.

How did that feel?
It was an amazing felling. Of course I would prefer that the project was better, but the awareness that someone on the other side of the world wears a t-shirt with mine design is great!

What advice would you offer to aspiring designers/illustrators?
I draw and paint since I can remember, but making t shirt designs is still fresh thing to me, so  I’m not sure that I’m right person to giving advices, but hard work and training always brings results.

Tell us about your favorite food.
I spend too much time on my computer and I become little chubby, so I’m trying to change my eating habits and eat more healthy and diet food. My favorite is salad with shrimps, tomatoes, lamb's lettuce, onion, sunflower sprouts and honey balsamic vinegar sauce. I am also a big fan of sushi, I can eat any amount of it.

MAC or PC?
Definitely PC. I love these error messages pop up all the time
