A word from the curator:
Scott is super-talented! All tattoos should be this cool :)
Tell us a bit about this design.
This design was originally created as a part of the recent "3G Show: Goonies, Gremlins, and Ghostbusters" at Gallery 1988 in Los Angeles. I got quite a bit of positive feedback from people who wanted this either as a t-shirt or an actual tattoo...
Where are you from?
I originally hail from Central Jersey, but have made the greater Philadelphia area my home for about 15 years now...
What do you want TeeFury fans to know about you?
I cry during "chick flicks"
What do you absolutely not want them to find out?
I was a contestant on the MTV game show "Remote Control"
Name a few of your favorite things.
Action figures & comic books, music & documentaries about punk rock, coffee, chocolate flavored anything, and beer...
What are your feelings about tattoos?
When getting a tattoo that contains text, always have a second person proofread your design for you... and make sure that person owns a dictionary.
Would you rather explore the jungle or the desert?
Trick question: Lemmy is God...
Cookies vs. brownies: which would win the battle?
The Chocolate Chip "Blondie" brownie/cookie would decimate the battlefield...
Describe your favorite shirt that you own, and why you like it so much.
I have many shirts that I love for many different reasons, but my favorite might be my navy blue Hüsker Dü Metal Circus t-shirt that I bought while in Milwaukee for Summer Fest about 4 years ago. I'm not quite sure why, but I just love that shirt...
Which is better, gaming, reading, or watching movies? Name your favorite title in your chosen medium.
Watching movies is definitely better, because you can't get a bunch of your friends together with a case of beer and make sarcastic comments while reading a book... Or can you?
However, no one is allowed to make sarcastic comments during one of my monthly viewings of "Basquiat", which is my all-time favorite movie. It usually does not prove to be a problem, as I can't convince anyone to watch it with me...
What inspires your work?
Music, movies, comics, beer, and pork roll, egg & cheese sandwiches...
Any shout outs?
Philadelphia Cartoonist Society and the Autumn Society of Philadelphia, Mike "Zombie" & the Zolomij family; Jeffro Kilpatrick; Big shout outs to Dave "Montygog" Perillo and Tom "Strongstuff" Whalen; Most importantly... my muse, my wife, my biggest fan; Rachel and our son Finn "Danger"
